I joined Shutterstock.com two months ago and am starting to build a collection of illustrations and 3d images there. It’s a microstock site that you can sell your photography, illustrations, and 3d on. I don’t have much experience with photography so I’ve been sticking to illustration and 3d. Vector illustration sells very well there. There’s also a lot of room on the site for new 3d. Most of the 3d on the site looks to be abstract, so I think characters or environments would be a good place for someone looking to get in.

The site is free for contributers to join. If you’re interested in joining, consider using me as your referring link. I’d appreciate it as I’m just starting out there too. My final goal is to make several hundred dollars a month with microstock images.
